Consider Divorce Mediation

Ready & Waiting To Assist

  • The primary advantages of mediation is that it is a less adversarial process.
  • Mediation is a quick process that usually lasts a few months.
  • Mediation is a confidential process that allows couples to keep their private matters out of the public arena.
  • Mediation is also a more effective method in reaching mutually beneficial agreements.

Our Approach

My California divorce cost over $60,000. While going through the process and then later working with a family law attorney, I knew I could provide couples and families with a better option. My name isn’t Dorothy, but my story is real. I am a businesswoman and former financial advisor. As such, I look for solutions to very big financial problems. After my messy, ridiculous divorce I decided to create a better option for people.

Step 1. Choose to Mediate

Mediation is the process in which a neutral third party facilitates communication between two parties to help them reach a mutual agreement. In the case of divorce, mediation involves the mediator helping the couple to come to an agreement concerning the division of assets, spousal and child support, visitation, and other issues that might arise in a divorce.

One of the primary advantages of mediation in divorce cases is that it is a less adversarial process compared to litigation. Litigation can be stressful and time-consuming, often taking years to resolve. In contrast, mediation is a quick process that usually lasts a few months. It saves time and money since there is no need for lawyers to be involved in the process continually.

Another advantage of divorce mediation is that it is a private process. Unlike court proceedings where anyone can attend, mediation is a confidential process that allows couples to keep their private matters out of the public arena. This offers couples more control over their private affairs, while keeping the matters of their divorce private and between them.

Mediation is also a more effective method in reaching mutually beneficial agreements. Compared to litigation, which often results in a win-lose scenario, mediation ensures both parties win – a crucial aspect of an efficient dispute resolution method. Mediation allows couples to consider the best interests of both parties in crafting a solution that can work for both parties.
